To what extent does the economy within an online game mimic that of the real world?

have I lost it or could this actually work? please if you’re doing or have done IB answer this question.

If it can work is there any way for me improve the title?

Is this Runescape? Sounds somewhat like it. I can probably think of a way it the economy is similar to Runescape. When stuff is in demand, people go wild into it and eventually the price goes down.

Yes along the lines of that. But not Runescape. Is the idea ■■■■■■■■ or feasible?

Meanwhile i’ll have to think of a title that is a little more conventional.

it’s amazing really I can apply so many concepts. Laws of demand and supply. Veblen goods. Giffen goods. Free goods. Loads of macro economics issues.

I cannot say if it is feasible, but it is definitely interesting how a online game such as Runescape works with our real economy. Although the AdComs MAY think of you as immature or maybe they might think its brilliant. I can’t say since I’m not in AdComs haha.

I’m no expert on IB since my school just adopted it last year, but I don’t think it’s a fair question. The economic system in a video game was designed for different purposes than that of the real world.

What will people in the real world gain from reading your paper?

The extended essay is a 4000 word essay that isn’t read by adcoms; it’s read by IB markers. The grades go towards the additional 3 points I receive for my extended essay and TOK essay. But you guys are probably right ^^ quite a hard topic. But very appealing.
