IB Scores and the Humanities Aspect of the Core

Hey all,

I recently got my IB scores in the mail and I am pretty happy with the results. What I am most pleased about is my performance in the humanities, namely IB History HL and IB English HL because I got a 6 and 7. I am a science and math person who wants to focus on learning more about physics and math and it would be nice to skip a few humanitites courses. Does anyone know if IB scores can be used as credit for the humanities part of the core?

Chicago takes absolutely no credit for humanities, so nope. You can always opt for 2 instead of 3 quarters, though, if you take an additional civ or arts course instead.
