Hey is anyone else applying to Tufts in IB? It says in the application to, if possible, send predicted IB grades in lieu of grades. I worked SO hard for my grades this semester and I would really rather submit my grades instead of my predicted IB scores, which aren’t even a representation of the work I’ve done but rather a teacher’s impression of me! I think the predicted grades would be pretty good but my Bio teacher is REALLY mean, she might put down a 4 or something because she’s such a nazi.

So anyone else in this situation, what are you doing?

Hello. I’m applying to Tufts and I’m in the IB as well. Well actually, I took the standard level math test last year, and I just put that on my application. Although, I don’t know if they want the scores directly from the IB. Would you happen to know? Just send a transcript of all your updated grades. That should be fine. I actually didn’t know they are asking for PREDICTED IB scores. Oh well. By the way, what do you think of the IB program? (Just out of curiosity)

I didn’t know if they wanted the predicted ones, I just told them what I got on my IB Math Studies exam, since I’m taking the rest this year. But yes, I am in IB, and I love IB. Oh my. Don’t submit your predicted ones. Say it’s not possible, lol.

I am in IB, but I haven’t submitted my predicted scores either; I didn’t know Tufts wanted them. I took IB Spanish SL last year and submitted that score, but nothing else IB-related. Is there anything specific I should include?

PS–as for me, I used to like IB, but it’s runing my life at the moment.

Haha. Word up! IB was exciting at first…

I didn’t know Tufts wanted predicted scores either. Where do we tell them our predicted scores? Could we just tell them that we would get all 7s?
Although that’s probably not true. By the way, are yall applying regular decision? And do you know the percentage of students who get in who applied early decision?

The teachers are supposed to predict the scores, or at least they do at my school. I’m applying RD.
Yeah so I love my IB classes but I HATE the homework. IB at my school is humongous, so there’s so many people who take it and it’s not like ib=nerd because if you’re going to college, everyone at least takes ib math. and the ib classes always have the best teachers.

I should have submitted my Philosophy score from last year, I got a 6. How did you submit this score??
