<p>Everything else aside, does having dual citizenship help one career wise in I-banking in NYC; in the recruiting process in NYC ? Im an American citizen and Italian therefore a member of the European Union. Thanks.</p>
<p>why would you think it would help you? it’s not like you’re going to be jet setting between new york and italy making deals, you’re going to be sitting in your cube all day using excel</p>
<p>Simple, because am member of the European Union lets you work and live freely in any member country in Europe. Also, less trouble traveling between countries. Also, if promoted within the company I would have the ability to transfer to the London office or others ect. My friend that work for the big four is overseas al the time.</p>
