Iced Coffee

I use the regular coffee that I have made in the morning and put the leftovers in a container in the refrigerator. When ready for iced coffee, just pour over a glass of ice, add a splash of half and half and a splash of kahlua. Yum.

I have a french vanilla iced coffee k cup that I brew over ice and add sugar and soymilk. I used to LOVE all different kinds of iced coffee, but finding it completely dairy free without making it yourself is pretty much impossible.

One thing I do find interesting is that I find soymilk completely unpalatable in just about every form except chocolate, but pouring a heaping helping into iced coffee doesn’t bother me. In hot coffee, it is gross.

Thank you for this wonderful thread!

I’m going to get some sweetened condensed milk and some malt powder. Those sound like great additions! And in these last weeks of pregnancy, I don’t care about calorie count. :)

Real feel temp hit 100 degrees this afternoon in Tampa…we’re switching from making pitchers of iced coffee to making pitchers of both iced tea and pitchers of sangria for later in day! I like iced coffee, but when it gets over 90 degrees it’s a little too heavy for me even with lots of ice.

If you really, really want great iced coffee or you have an addiction, look into toddy brewing. It’s cold “brewed” coffee. The method seriously reduces the acid and creates a very mellow but full tasting coffee.

I make cold brewed coffee in this little gagdet:
[Amazon.com: Ronco Brew System White: Kitchen & Dining](http://www.amazon.com/Ronco-CT1000WHGEN-Brew-System-White/dp/B002A3P6DG)

Since I started cold brewing there is no other way. My oldest DD like mine so much (too much) that I bought her one for her apartment.

The cold brewed coffee lasts about 2 weeks in the refrigerator.

I just got a pack of peach iced tea for my keurig… I have not made it yet but i’m assuming it’s similar? fill cup with Ice and then use that as your cup for the keurig to put your tea in?

I buy 3in1 nescafe coffee ( coffee cream sugar ) so convenient ahhh!
