<p>cross country for 2 years, ran varsity one year</p>
<p>scholar bowl junior varsity captain for 2 years</p>
<p>NHS officer, treasurer</p>
<p>Expecting Eagle Scout soon</p>
<p>Bunch of community service hours at my church, and at my dad’s hospital</p>
<p>Worked with my dad (who is a doctor) since freshman year (helped file stuff, assist patients, even assist in surgery)</p>
<p>what do you think my chances are? please be honest, i don’t want to put hope in something that i have no chance in</p>
<p>Honestly, please try to get someone with a different last name than yours to give you an LOR for your hospital volunteering. </p>
<p>Your stats look fine. You have a pretty good chance. What are your SAT II scores though?</p>

I would advise you to apply to a handful of combined med programs.</p>
<p>Yeah, I agree while ok, your contribution at your Dad’s hospital and your volunteering experience, shouldn’t be the crux of your CV, when it comes to medical experiences. You need to do it in different things OUTSIDE of your Dad’s realm.</p>
