<p>Do Stanford really disregard your application if one of your forms doesn’t have your Common App ID on it?</p>
<p>They match the names and ID numbers, just more tedious for them</p>
<p>oh okay, I was afraid they wouldn’t accept it at all. Also, the name used in all of my school records, like transcripts, are a different name than my legal name, but I included my school name in the slot that mentioned if I had another name I used…but the school forms mention nothing about my actual name, you think that’s okay?</p>
<p>It’s more work for the admissions office, but I think it’ll be fine. Colleges match you by the school you’re applying from first, and then they look for specific identification, such as names/social security numbers. I assume you put your social security number on your school records (common app) so they can match you with that, if your name doesn’t match up.</p>
