I'd recommend you guys taking the SAT over the ACT if dates and deadlines mean anything to you.

Turns out ACT messed up with my answer document and are going to take more than the set 8 weeks to give me my scores. I’ve already submitted my ED expecting ACT to deliver, but now I don’t know if my scores are going to come in time.

Here’s the message they sent me
Dear ACT examinee,

This message concerns the September 12, 2015, ACT test you took at XXX. ACT is aware that you have not yet received your test scores from the September 2015 test date. We can confirm that your answer document arrived at ACT and is currently in the scoring process. Validity checks for these scores are ongoing, and scores will not be available within the normal scoring window. We are working to process those scores as quickly as possible and anticipate a resolution within the next few weeks. As a result of this delay, ACT will issue a refund of your September registration fees. The refund will be issued in the same manner you paid the fee (e.g., if you paid by credit card, that card will be credited).

ACT will notify you by e-mail when your September scores are ready.

If you have questions about your registration or reporting your scores, please contact ACT Customer Care at http://www.act.org/studentforms/scores.html.

Sincerely,

ACT Customer Care

Take the SAT if your close to deadlines and you need a company that you can trust.
Good day.

Where do you live?

@HereToHelpYou India, Bangalore.

Yes, I heard from two other student who are in the same boat. I hope this is resolved soon.

Will the colleges on your list accept a screen shot?

@HereToHelpYou The scores aren’t in my account to screenshot. They haven’t even been scored yet. They supposedly lost the papers and found them again and are working on correcting them “as soon as possible”.

Also tbh idgaf about the money. I need my scores. So much depends on them. Their customer support and service are the worst i’ve experienced. They don’t deserve to play with students futures like this.

Consider calling the colleges on your list and explaining the situation. (You may have already done this.)

It is out of your hands at this point. Good luck to you.
