I got a 1430 (730 R+W, 700 M) on my PSAT. My index score was 216. As a junior from Idaho (obviously not known as a top state at all), how do my chance fair?
You have a good shot! I took the PSAT in Utah and a 227(2005) was ranked #13 in the entire state

Idaho’s cutoff is probably like 205 or so…You should be good
If you were in MA you wouldn’t make it…in 2005 (even though PSAT is on a different scale now) the cutoff in MA was 223…Some states were below 205 back in 05
