Ideal combination of majors/minors to enter manufacturing?

If I wish to aid my father with his manufacturing business in China, what majors/minors would be most relevant? I recently transferred into Penn as a SAS student. Now, I am regretting that decision since operations management and systems science and engineering seem like more appropriate fields of study for my intended career. With that said, what should I do to make my academic experience at Penn adequately prepare me post-graduation? I was thinking majoring in Chinese, minoring in Systems Science and Engineering and taking a few Wharton courses involving manufacturing processes. Do you guys know if this is even possible?

Major in economics, systems engineering, or business (Wharton). Learn Chinese on your own or minor in it. As for combining, certain things are possible. I would not major in Chinese, though. This is only one opinion.

You cannot minor in any majors within the engineering school unless you are already in that school. Thus, lets say if you want a minor in systems engineering, you must already be majoring in something like comp sci.

If you got into SAS, I think you have to major in an SAS subject or create your own major. You should be able to take some classes in other Penn schools (Wharton, engineering, maybe law), possibly as part of an individualized major. Have you talked with an SAS advisor?
