<p>Actually, “ideal” height vs. “acceptable” height are different. Fortunately for you, the “acceptable” range is not a normal curve around the “ideal”. Like ruskie says, “as long as the girl is shorter than me”. That means, you have more options in the guys you date than a girl 5’10", who may only be able to attract guys 6’ and higher.</p>

<p>^ it’s funny how even short guys want tall women - being 5’7" for a guy is like being 5’1.5" for a girl, but even he prefers women who are above average (nothing wrong with that btw, i’m just using you as an example). So certain posters complaining women are shallow for wanting taller men should look at this thread, where it’s clear the ideal female height is also above average - nothing shallow about it, just preferences. </p>

<p>aww that’s cute =) yeah i’m short myself and I remember when I dated my 6’1 ex, i would tiptoe up to kiss him and he would have to bend all the way down lol…we were like a foot apart. i think with an 18 inch different i’d end up with a stiff neck lol.</p>

<p>^ or in other words, the shorties and tall ones would balance each other out…although people have different genes in their family, usually tall, short and average, so you never know. I think having a huge difference between the two partners would be kind of awkard though…1 foot was kind of awkward for me, I imagine lilygraces has a more awkward time with 1 foot and a half…imo, if you can only makeout sitting down, then there’s a problem lol

<p>well, by awkardness i meant like a huge difference, but since guys/gals are already like 5 inches apart on average, i don’t think that’s a huge difference…a foot or more definitely is. I think it’s more awkward when the guy is shorter than the girl. i guess because we’re not used to seeing it or whatever.</p>
