Ideas for a high School Economics Independent Study?

I just took AP Micro/Macro and am enjoying the course; it just makes a lot of sense to me. I’m in 10th grade, and would like to continue learning/applying Econ somehow after I graduate the course, possibly in the form of an independent study. But I don’t know what topics I could pursue or how. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Build your own imaginary organization from the ground up using real-life principles based on past successful entrepreneurs.

Ask your AP teacher (s).
An idea: A good independent study would be to study your town from an economic point of view for the past 50 years.

Can you take a dual enrollement class at the local CC?
Can you take a different business class?

@Waterborne If you start doing case studies in an Econ class, they will kick you out and make you do the walk of shame over to the B School.

@Lampo If you want to do something self study, you may want to consider doing the history of economic thought.

^Economic Theory should probably be taken through Dual Enrollment though, although OP could read Intermediate Economy books. But it seems too complex to do as a HS independent study.
