<p>I am at a loss for a graduation gift. I am sure travel is in the future but- do you have an idea for a physical gift that would be meaningful for architecture?</p>

<p>Drafting table or top notch computer system are possibilities. Or a scanner - I couldn’t live without mine. Honestly the best gift (but you’ll probably want to wait a few years even if you could afford it!) is a commission. It’s amazing how many well known architects had their parent’s house as their first commission.</p>
<p>I imagine she already has the Architectural Graphic Standards? My dad got that for me as a gift one year. I remember being shocked at the price - $98! Now it’s $173.</p>

<p>I think a computer is a good idea, or a really good CAD program if she already has the computer. You would probably have to ask her for specific ideas.</p>
