IDOC Help

I am confused on how to fill out the IDOC…

I am a current HS senior and do not have a job, so I going to fill out the Non-tax Filer’s statement (for the student).

The form asks for any money received at all. In 2011, I received a $100 award and $200 in bonds from one of the sponsors of my state Science Fair for my work. Am I supposed to include this?

What is the 1099 form? The only forms we have are IRS 2011 Federal Tax Return, our state tax return, and W-2s.

Thank you in advance.

1099’s are issued for almost any kind of income including investment sales, interest, dividends, work as a contractor, state tax refunds, etc. They have different letter designations… but all are 1099’s. You might not have any… but many people do get them. Not sure on what you have to report for your own income… but those amounts are small so whether or not you report them they won’t reduce your aid.

Good luck.
