If a professor told you to study something else, would you follow her advice?

<p>I would pay attention, but also get a second opinion I valued.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t follow it without looking into the matter further, but after doing so, I might. It would depend a lot on the reasons the professor gave, what she suggested I might study instead, etc.</p>

<p>One of my professors first semester felt very strongly that I was in the wrong major. After some more thinking, I really agreed with her assessment, and I’m starting engineering school in the fall.</p>

<p>That’s what they’re supposed to do. They want to be 100% sure you’re sure. No big deal.</p>
