There has been a good deal of speculation about whether or not the html source code in Agora can reveal whether or not you were accepted.

If you were denied or deferred, can you please check whether the line

PayEnrollmentFees

apears in the source of the page?

To do this, go to agora, and click on “Application Status”. When you get to the page that confirms your app materials were sent by mail, go to the top taskbar, and click “View” → “Source”. Type Ctrl+F to open the find window, and then search for “PayEnrollmentFees”.

If it does not appear, and you know that you were denied or deffered, please post back here. If it does appear, DO NOT post back here. Obviouslly this code would be present for those who did get in. To avoid clutter and to simplify the results, only people who were denied and deferred, please.

We’re sorry, Yoshukiu… but the majority of people will be deferred. I believe it was 2230 accept/7000+ apply this year for Early Action.

If you feel that’s way, it’s fine…but if you want to see if you can help some nervous college applicants, it would be nice.

I’ve seen some stellar candidates get deferred in the EA thread…so many of us are really, really anxious, and it would be nice if that was a clue that one would be admitted or not.

i have the payenrollmentfees and i have the payenrollhousingonline but i didnt get anything in the mail yet, hopefully tomorrow, ill post back tomorrow also

Do you mean these:
function PayOnline(SSN,LName,FName, EmailAddr, FeeAmount)
{
}
function PayEnrollmentOnline(ID,LName,FName, EmailAddr, FeeAmount)
{
}
function PayEnrollHousingOnline(ID,LName,FName, EmailAddr, FeeAmount)

@monv84 - according to another thread (can’t find it now. essay due tomorrow) all of the values were set to false after some people started getting links to pay for enrollment early.

Yep- I got deferred and I had it. I don’t think the scripts really have anything to do with acceptance decisions- I’ve had all the same scripts that other deferred and accepted students have.
