if everyone from my school who applied rea got an interview except me, is that gauranteed or a high probability that I probably got rejected?

First of all, check your spam folders, and any alternate email addresses you may have, and their spam folders.
If you still don’t see any invite, don’t worry about it. As Stanford says, “Interview capacity is limited by alumni availability. Many applicants do not receive interview invitations.”
No, it’s alumni availability. That’s it. It really doesn’t mean anything if you get an interview or you don’t get an interview. The alumnus/alumna/alumni/alumnae in your area just didn’t have time for any more interviews.
My husband did conduct Stanford alumni interviews and what really affected him was his work schedule.
He runs/ manages a large department and averages of about 60 hours a week. If he’s available, he takes an interview.
The other thing you need to consider is that even with an interview, it doesn’t guarantee that you or your classmates are “in”. It just means that your interview was supplemental to your application.
The interviewer sends in the information and then the admissions committee makes its own decisions.
Some go a step further and advise prospective students to consider NOT accepting the interview even if offered. A good interview is unlikely to help significantly, but a really bad interview could potentially blow your chances.
Turning down an interview opportunity may not be a good look.
But back to the OP’s question….it is not a rejection, there are just not enough interviewers available.
Well, there are always reasonable excuses you can make.
Let’s agree to disagree on this one.
Thank you! I got contacted yesterday for one!
Time to do your homework then! Read up on how to interview for college, have a friend or two ask you questions from lists of typical interview questions so that you get comfortable answering them. And one of the most important questions you’ll be asked is “Do you have any questions for me?” This is a chance to show you’ve spent time thinking about being a student at that school and to ask questions not already answered in materials the college has sent or online.
i took it! but she never asked me why stanford….i kind of worked it into my answers AND i sent her a thank you letter and she didnt respond…not sure it went well ig
i didnt have too much time to prep because she said to do it the day after she sent the email BUT i did ask her some qs like why stanford for her and what her favorite moment was
Sounds like it went just fine. I would not expect a reply to your thank you note – these are busy people.
