If Harvard moved to El Paso ?

This was one of the topics at a college graduation brunch this Sunday. Do you think it would matter for their yield or number of OSS applications?

For those coming from the northeast. Yes. New England. Wouldn’t go for the most part. lol. Are there schools outside of Boston? Bad enough some people think of driving all the way to New Haven for college. Egads.

Just kidding.

Havard El Paso. Is that like Georgia Tech Lorraine, Duke Kunshan or Georgetown Qatar? Since it has “Harvard” in the name, it would get its share of applicants.

UTEP’s nickname is Harvard on the Border. Lol.

I fully believe that location (small town, rural, “middle of nowhere”) can inhibit a school from attracting the students it needs to reach it’s true potential. My D regarding my alma mater…“If we could pick it up and put it down somewhere else, I would go there in a heartbeat.”
