If I accomplish, will I get in?

I know that I cannot say for sure what I will get on my SATs, etc. However, IF all of the following happens, what would you say my chances would be at Brown? I am currently a sophomore in high school. Brown is my #1 choice and I would do (almost) anything to get in. Here it goes:

Rank: 2 or 3/100
SAT I: 750-800 M, 650-700 CR, 650-700 WR
SAT II: Bio M 750-800, Math 2 750-800 (i have not decided on all of my subject tests yet

Freshman Year (highest level for all classes):

Algebra 2: A+
English: A
Biology: A+
History: A
Latin: A+
Spanish: A+

Sophomore Year (highest level in all classes):

Pre-Calculus: A+
English: A-/A
Chemistry: A+
History: A+
Latin: A+
Spanish: A+

Human Biology @ local CC: A
Calculus I @ local CC: A/A+ (have not taken yet)

For junior and senior years, I plan on taking all IB HL classes and getting As (I heard that Math HL for is super difficult, which is why I’m planning on taking calculus before-hand) and scoring highly on the tests (6-7).

At the community college, I also plan on taking (during Junior and Senior years): Calculus II & III, a medical-related class (not sure yet), and a cooking class (last semester, for fun :)).

I might self-study AP Physics, Chemistry and Computer Programming if I have the time to.

Extracurriculars:

Model UN: head delegate
Latin Club: co-president
Science Club (not sure if there is a leadership position for this, but if so, president)
National Honor Society: treasurer/vp
Key Club: treasurer/vp
form independent Cooking Club (school won’t let me form one)
Basketball: co-captain
Soccer
tutor @ local homeless shelter
shadow doctors @ hospital

I think you’ll have a good chance

With around a 9% of acceptance, it’s going to be a reach for you anyway.
There are more than enough valedictorians and perfect SAT scores to fill the entire incoming class, so you truly have to stand out in admissions somehow.
However, I will say that you stand a very good chance as an African American, which sounds rude, but it is not. I am a URM as well, so good luck to you within the coming year.
Try to have an EC that no one else has and really feel passionate about it.

thanks! i’ll keep that in mind!

bump…

How is this possible?

"Born in Germany but originally from Cameroon (in Africa). "

Also, you can’t only take IB HL classes. IB has a cap at 4 HLs, which means you need to take at least 2 SL. Also, you haven’t entered the program yet, so see how you’re doing and come repost a chance thread next year. I can say you are certainly on the right path to be a good applicant, but things can easily change in a 2 year period.

Don’t sell yourself short and aim only for 2050-2200 on the SAT. If you’re serious about the Ivies, try to shoot for 750+ in each part of the test

Here’s my suggestion: Keep your options open. Do what you love and to well this year. Do not check this website until next year. You sound you will eventually be an excellent candidate and, if not Brown, you’ll land somewhere great. Good luck.
