What would you want your counselor recommendation to focus on? An attribute of yours, an activity, etc…? What are the best kinds of recommendations (the ones that can distinguish candidates in very strong applicant pools)? Thanks</p>

<p>“Best in career” would be ideal.</p>
<p>Comments on the applicants personal qualities (honest, curious, inspiring, etc.) in addition to praise for their academic achievements and potential.</p>
