I have already committed to a school, and now I’m considering trying out as a walk on. Once I am officially enrolled, do I still need to register with NCAA. The college does not offer athletic scholarships for this sport.
What Division? If D1 or D2, yes, you will have to register before you compete because they’ll need to certify your high school grades and graduation. It doesn’t take long to register, so you can wait until you try out and make the team. If D3, no you don’t have to register.
