After I got tanked out of every writing and seminar class I wrote to a few of the profs. Soon after my schedule changed and while my primary bookbag remained the same, one of the classes I had e-mailed about that I left in my alternate bookbag had a yellow W and it said Full and 1 waitlist. The legend says a yellow W means YOU are waitlisted. Can someone explain this to me (since freshmen aren’t supposed to be able to waitlist) and also , am I supposed to do anything with my bookbag now or will it automatically move up if I get into the class. Thanks for the info.

Well it will automatically move you into the class if enough seats open up. However, you shouldn’t rely on that happening, esp. since these are courses all Freshmen are required to take. Call the PMAC advising office, they are a bunch of really really nice people who will be glad to walk you through your options. Ask for Dr. Rasmussen if you can, she’s a really cool lady who will get you what you need:

Thanks. I won’t depend on the possibility and currently have another class scheduled. What I’m wondering is, will it move up automatically if I am already enrolled in four classes or do I need to take one out? Sorry we new guys are so full of questions. Next semester we’ll just walk down the hall and knock on someone’s door.
