<p>Essays: one is very good, about growing up in a very rural environment w/in suburban SD, the other is about how I learned what a true accomplishment is through failure.</p>

<p>Besides that point, your stats are above average for UCLA, don’t worry.</p>

<p>UCs do NOT want mid-year grade reports. You only send your stuff to the UC that you want to attend after acceptance.</p>
