Is it possible for a freshman in UCLA Chemistry(Biochemistry) to transfer to Chemistry Engineering?
2)If possible, what can be done to make it more likely to be a success?
I’ll be very grateful if anyone could be so kind to offer help.

What are your goals? Is it for premed? Don’t do ChemE, do BioE.

Do you want to be an actual engineer? If so, audit ChemE 100. ChemE 100 always breaks students (it’s a weeder) and you will find if it’s for you or not.

Thank you TB54. Actually, I just got admitted into UCLA Chemistry. However, I later find out that it’s ChemE that I really want to do. So is it possible for me to switch to ChemE from just Chem later on? I mean how big the chances are for it and what can I do to make it a success?
