I know it may sound stupid asking what classes should be taken but I just want to make sure.
As it is said, I want to know what classes.
Plus, gpa and ec range for safe zone.
Andim majoring in biochem at UCR right now.
Thank you

Unfortunately, there are not many UC -> UC articulation agreements listed on [Welcome to ASSIST](http://www.assist.org) . But you can look up the major at UCI to see what it requires, and then find the most similar courses at UCR. Contact the department at UCI if you want to verify that specific courses at UCR will fulfill the needed requirements if you transfer.

The UC schools all give full credit for classes taken at other UCs. Not only that, the GPA transfers too; if you come from any other school they just transfer units but not grades. You can find all about this by reading about transferring on the UCI website. The main UC site also says

From your join date I’m assuming you’re entering your sophomore year in college. Thebest choice, if you want to get into UCI, is to do your sophomore year at a CC and enroll in the Transfer Guarantee program. Meet a certain GPA requirement and list of classes and you are promised acceptance! Read thru the info on the UCI website carefully to understand all the conditions, and note the guarantee is not available for all majors including not available for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology.

You take the same required courses as any other transfer. Look up the department website at UCI to see what is required for all transfers into a major. (Each dept will have different requirements.) For biochem, for example:
