If i was waitlisted at Vassar and WUSTL, do I have a chance at Ivies?

<p>I was also accepted to CSUN, Cal Poly SLO, UC Davis, UC Santa Barbara, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, and UCLA. Do I have a chance at Ivies and other competitive private colleges if I was waitlisted at Vassar and WUSTL, or is this completely independent of the outcomes of other private schools? Please and thank you! </p>

<p>WUSTL is famous for waitlisting “overqualified” applicants.
Not so much with Vassar.
Not knowing any of your stats I would say that a Vassar waitlist is unlikley to translate into an admit at most top-25 schools, but there would really need to be more detail to predict.</p>
