<p>You know, after reading all these threads just guzzling over about how WONDERFUL Rice is, I’m actually starting to feel calmer about my ED choice. I mean, honestly, if I got into my ED, I’d be crazily thrilled (ie, jumping off the walls, throwing confetti, dancing in my socks). But now, I don’t feel like it’ll be the end of the world if I DON’T get in (which is very likely, as I’m only in the lower 25th percentile as of SATs). I applied EA to Rice after a lot of thought. Rice has always been near the top of the list, if not AT the top. Ironically enough, being located in Texas has always been the draw for me, not the negative drawback. I mean, its TEXAS!! Come on, get excited. I’m a straight-laced northerner (Boston, then NY), but I’m all about experiencing life and not at all afraid to in different areas of the country, if not the world. </p>
<p>I kind of wish I wouldn’t get accepted to my ED college, just so I can see if I can get into Rice. </p>
<p>Though… remember. I said kind of. I’m human, after all, who doesn’t want to be admitted to their first choice college. But Rice ain’t far behind, and I’d be overjoyed to get into Rice any day.</p>
