I’ve been taking free practice tests online (unfortunately I don’t have the money to buy prep books or courses) and what I’m noticing is that my scores are great!

… except my math score, which is terrible. I mean, really embarrassingly dismal. Panic attack-inducing levels of failure.

I’m applying to four public Florida universities as an upper-level transfer from a small not-really-a-community-college (Daytona State College). They’re not “big ticket” schools like Florida State (University of West Florida, Florida Gulf Coast University, University of North Florida and New College of Florida), and I take the test in two weeks.

Am I going to have a chance? At all? I’ll graduate in May with probably about a 3.5 or so GPA and an Associate’s degree, and my grades are pretty much all As and Bs with the occasional C here and there where I’ve struggled. Are they going to take into account what my grades are, or will they just look at my test scores? If I do dismally on the math section the day of the test, like I am now, am I screwed?
