Hi all. For those of you who have taken prep courses and improved by a good amount in critical reading, say from the 630 - 640’s to the 710 - 720’s (where I am now, and my ideal score), exactly HOW did it help you? Did the instructors help you guide your reasoning in any way? Did they teach you how to stop over - analyzing? I know being a good reader is a thang which cannot be taught, but did they help you analyze better? Thank you!

A lot of it are simple (But not obvious) rules and patterns.

so what you’re saying is… quite a bit of it is learning these patterns?

Yes. A lot of the rules and patterns come from the more general rule of “If it’s not in the area of interest, then it’s wrong.”

People always tell me to choose the answer from the AUTHOR’s standpoint, not mine.
