If School meets 100% of need does it matter when you submit CSS Profile?

Just wondering, if it is due Feb 20th (made this up) does it matter if it is submitted Jan 10th compared to Feb 1st? Thanks!

hmm im wondering that too.

It doesn’t matter for institutional aid as long as you are submitting prior to the deadline.

There are some federally funded programs that have limited funding. If you think you might be eligible for federal work study, a Perkins loan, or SEOG, you want to get your application done soon…as the colleges receive limited funding for these and they are awarded on a first come, first served basis.

I think it does matter when you submit. Unless you are talking about school that give super aid and have deep pockets, when you apply will not matter. However, keep in mind just because a alcohol meets 100% demonstrated need does not mean that all of the need based aid will be institutional aid. Applying late could means that you could get a package with less institutional aid and more loans because the “free” money has been exhausted.
