<p>do UCs look at your 1st semester senior year grades?</p>

<p>for SATs,
I have a 2230 SAT score, 760 chem, 740 math, and 700 world history.</p>

<p>however, my GPA is abymally low: i think it’s something around a 2.7 uw (3.1 weighted) for sophomore and junior year.</p>

<p>this semester, though, i have a 3.66 UW (4.16 weighted) and i’m taking 3 APs.</p>

<p>do UCs look at my grades if I am borderline accepted/rejected?</p>

<p>Senior year grades are used to make sure the student isn’t slacking off, but your junior and sophomore GPA matters for the UC system.</p>
