<p>Certificate programs are voluntary and denote a certain specialty that supplements upon your regular major. To earn the certificate, you have to take extra courses in that particular area. For example, a math major can get a certificate in “Actuarial Studies” if he/she takes certain classes in statistics and risk management. Here’s the link to all certificate programs at UR:</p>
