If you could give one tip for a Junior for better acceptance chance?

Hi I am going to be a Junior next year. I’m taking

AP Psychology
AP Language and Composition
AP US History
AP Computer Science
AP Physics
Cross Country / Track

I haven’t taken the SAT yet.
I plan to major in Computer Science
I want to be accepted to UCLA or Berkeley

What is the best tip you can give me for my Junior year? Thank you.

Are you in any clubs? Any other extracurriculars? Maybe some that are geared towards computer science? Are you/will you be doing anything productive over the summer?

Yes I want to do something productive over the summer. Im taking Visual Basic at a college over the summer, and im in California Scholarship Foundation, treasurer of an animal club, Fellow Christian Atheletes, Bible Club, National Honor society. They are not really connected to computer science though

If nothing is really connected to your major then try and join something that is, I don’t know what clubs are offered at your school, but if there isn’t anything related maybe you could start one. Obviously don’t just do it to get into college though, if you really like your intended major then maybe you’ll enjoy the club, or if you join and find out it’s just not for you then might be saving yourself from going down the wrong path. Also what’s your GPA UW? Also something else although it might be a little late is just to show a consistent interest in something, if it’s your intended major all the better if not it’s still good.

Best tip: Get all A’s.
