@college_query - my daughter is doing something similar now with travel nursing. She’s lived for 6 months in Seattle, then Denver, and now San Diego. She loves it! I get to watch the storage unit, lol.

A cousin of H’s has semi-retired and downsized too. They live in a small condo and spend all their free time traveling. They love to ski and have dual citizenship with Italy so you can imagine…

I feel like we’re still in the “fixing up the house” phase and I can’t wait to downsize and take off more often.

I’d be happy in coastal GA or SC or spending a year on a large crewed boat island hopping in the Caribbean.

I asked my husband and he said Albuquerque, because he could work there, and we have talked about moving to the SW. (if he were to get a job there I would retire and go have fun).
