If you don’t have a US citizenship but you DO have a green card,
would that hinder anyone from getting into a top medical school in United states?

I’ve heard from alot of people that it is almost impossible to go to medical school in US if you are an international student…
but if you have a green card, is that the same as being an international student?
or would there be a lesser disadvantage compared to being an international?
Will there be a big disadvantage of just having a green card, and not having the citizenship?

thank you

no you’re not considered international. its assumed you will eventually become a citizen. you should not be treated any differently from a citizen
