…will the printing be disrupted? (Printing about 100 pages)

While I don’t know about UM specifics, at my HS you can log off before the job is complete. Maybe you could try a test page or something before your whole 100 pages?

When you hit print this happens in most cases:

job is “spooled” (data is sent from program to the print control computer for storage so it can order the incoming jobs, and print next in line, and so you can close you program when it’s done being spooled)

while it’s being spooled, one of the following happens:
A. If there’s available printer memory, data is simultaneously being sent to the printer until either A. the printer memory is full and it can’t take anymore data, B. the printer fails or C. the job is complete.
B. If it’s not ready to print your file and it doesn’t have memory to store it, it’s held by the print control computer.

So, if you (force) shut off or log off the computer before the print spool sends all your data to the print control computer, the printer will eject a half blank page or otherwise error out.
