If you suck at logic and reading comprehension. Also, English isn’t your main language.
Should you take the ACT instead of SAT??

Well, there is a English section about grammer rules and stuff. Also, there is a reading section where you have passages and, have to answer questions. I will say the questions on the ACT are more straight forward than they are on the SAT.

The ACT Science section as well as the Reading section require a certain amount of logic and reasoning to do well on.

Another question.
Are you guys just taking ACT?? Or you already got fabulous score on SAT, so you guys are taking ACT?

No fabulous score on the SAT, but the SAT is not offered in my town, you have to drive 30 minutes. So, I stick with the ACT.

but do u plan to take it after u get good score on act?

I’m just going to take the ACT…here in the Midwest most colleges look at either. And most people take the ACT here.

reading comprehension…

I think you need to have an adept level of reading comprehension to be able to answer all of the questions regarding the reading in the time given (very very limited on time, remember)

If you feel confident in your speed reading abilities vs reading comprehension, the ACT is nice. No tricks either.

Thanks guys!

You suck at logic? Wow, that must really suck.

Yap. It does suck actually.
And if I don’t get a question, I ask the teacher all the time.

SAT = logic, reasoning, and test taking ability.

ACT = knowledge, some logic, less reasoning, and requires you to read quite fast (science section).
