Clemson. More fun, better weather, great academics. And a little football.

UW GPA: 3.03
ACT: 25
HS: NE, college preparatory school
Took a few honors, struggled freshman year, but high school has a very good reputation, especially with Jesuit schools.
Resume: Played football for two years and lettered, track for 3 years and lettered twice, have had 3 jobs over the course of 3 years, multiple volunteer service activities (including working at an elementary school and delivering food to homeless people), and done a few service opportunities through school. I would hope my extracurricular activities minimize my poor GPA.

KU - accepted

You’ve got some expensive schools on your list. If your parents will pay for any school that you want to go to, then fine. What are your parents saying?
I don’t think you’ll get into UMinn, Clemson, SLU or Baylor.
Why didn’t you apply to Alabama? alabama would accept you.
What’s your budget?
Have you been accepted into all those schools already?
Yes
Yes
I have already been accepted into all of the schools above. About the budget, I got a few scholarships to some, some pretty big and others fairly small. Budget is not an issue
Marquette stood out to me. Nice size, Jesuit education, probably more name recog to me than the other. And Marcus Lemonis went there, lol.
Assuming finances are not an issue as you say, it then largely depends on the college experience you want to have. If you want a big state flagship with big time sports, Greek Life etc. I’d say Clemson or Kansas. If you want a mid-sized Jesuit school with smaller classes etc. (my personal preference but maybe not yours), I’d say Marquette or Xavier. I’d probably eliminate St. John’s as it is largely a commuter school.
I’d say Clemson or Marquette. It depends what you’re looking for, though.
^agreed 1000%. For me, it’d be between Clemson and Marquette. Based on where I am now, I’d probably pick Clemson.
Have you been accepted into every school listed above or just the schools under the " applied" list?
So as a Bio major, do you eventually want to go to med school? Then I would choose SLU or Kansas.
The thing with these Catholic schools is you have to take a couple classes in theology/philosophy. Don’t get me wrong. I have nothing against Catholic schools. My brother graduated from a Jesuit schools Three out of the four safety schools my D had were Jesuit schools.
If you want to go to dental school, then I would definitely choose Marquette since it’s your first choice anyway.
