If You're Going to Make a Long Distance Relationship Thread

The answer is to break up. If you’re the special butterfly that’s actually going to make it through a year then congrats I guess, but then why do you have to post a thread about it.

Just break up whenever you want to (preferably soon so you can have the summer) and stop bugging us about it. It’s worse than the “Do “ethnicity” guys like “ethnicity” girls” threads at this point.

I know they can seem annoying, but trust me, it’s just different for people who are in love. It’s not as easy as breaking up “preferably soon so you can have the summer”… serious relationships aren’t just something you end easily and then go have a rollicking good time for the rest of the summer. Either way, these people are going to have it hard – if they break up, they’ll be miserable, but if they stay together, the distance will be miserable. Have a little sympathy for these people – I do, because I did the long distance thing for two and a half years, and I know what a hard choice it is. Even high school flings hurt when they’re over, but for those people who have perhaps been together all throughout high school, it’s akin to saying goodbye to your best friend and then some. It’s not easy. Have you ever been in love? If you have, then just give them a little understanding and patience. If you haven’t, then it’s not fair for you to judge. :)

Just skip over it if you dont feel like responding.

Why do you have to post a thread about posting a thread on break-ups?

pretzelbreaker, your in college, do whatever the hell makes you happy. If that means keeping it long distance, then cool. If they means starting over, then so be it.
^^^Sounds pretty simple, but whatever…and please dont post twice on this topic.
