IGETC as a dual enrollment student?

So I’ve been taking random classes at my local community college hoping that most of them will knock out some GE’s for when I go to a university. More specifically, I am looking to finish my humanities/social science GEs. If the catalog for my CC has an IGETC transfer curriculum with some courses under each GE Foundation with how many units you need of each, like this, is it guaranteed that all courses will fulfill the GEs, if instructions are followed? Is there some agreement between the college and the UCs? Also, UC states that it applies for all campuses… did I read it right?

On a separate note, does taking GE’s before have any benefits if you’re looking to be a premed? I’d imagine that it would allow me to graduate earlier or graduate in 4 years with less units per term, making it easier. Also one last question… transferring these credits is as simple as requesting and sending a transcript before I enroll, right? Sorry if I was confusing lol… I don’t know a lot about this.

For premed, all college courses and their grades, even if during high school, count. If you have been earning A grades, great! But if you have been earning B or lower grades (particularly in premed science and math courses), then they will hinder your chance of medical school admission.

@ucbalumnus Yes, I have been doing okay. I just hope that my BCPM GPA isn’t too much lower than my composite GPA, I heard that can raise a red flag.
