You’re supposed to know whether or not you’re IGETC certified before you apply for your UC… cause you need to check the box to see if you are or not. If you lied about that, you could get rescinded.

Your CC should usually mail your transcript to where ever you tell them to.

Depending on your CC, it could take from 2 days to up to 3 weeks to get it prepared and mailed.

You should’ve talked to your counselor about whether or not you’re IGETC certified to be absolutely sure that you are certified, and not just according to what you think fits in the sections.

Your IGETC certification is just another piece of paper. Stating every type of class you need to take, which class you take, and what grade you got/if it’s in progress or transferred (ie. AP credit). The certification is signed by (I believe) the dean and an admissions officer from your CC.

I believe I stated in my application that I would be getting the certification. I did not lie. I talked to my counselor and By the end of spring I will have all the classes I need.
I did not see it stated anywhere that we need to mail our IGETC certification. How will they know that we indeed are certified?

how do i get the igetc certification? I know i am certified but when i send off my final transcript, do i have to send in this certificate or is it certification already shown by the classes i took on my transcripts? Will i get this IGE?TC certificate in the mail or do i need to request it
