It says on that I am exempt from taking a foreign language if I took 3 years of it in high school with a C or better. I took Spanish 1 in junior high and then took Spanish 2 and Spanish 3 in high school. Does this count?

Also, I am at a CSU right now but am starting going to a CCC in may. I am taking a class called honors critical thinking. Will this satisfy the 1B critical thinking/ English composition requirement. It is not listed.

Lastly, the sociology and criminology group (4J) doesn’t list criminal justice as a class that satisfies the requirement. I am taking that class this semester. Is there any chance that it could fulfill the requirement. Criminology is in the name.

When I was talking about the list of classes I was referring to the list of classes at the CCC that I will be going to that just tells people what to take to transfer to a UC.

For your critical thinking class, I’m going to say that it probably wont work for IGETC as on my IGETC handout from my CC it says in all caps and bold “Must be taken at a California Community College”. I would still check with a counselor when you start and see however.

You’ll have to check with a counselor about what classes will transfer over and work for IGETC as far as the criminology goes.
