<p>I have applied at UC San Diego and UC Irvine for the fall semester of 2012 as a Political Science Major. By Spring of 2012 I will have completed all of the IGETC requirements except for the Mathematical Concepts portion. I have been working through remedial math in community college and I am one class away from fulfilling this portion, but I won’t be eligible to take a class that fulfills the Mathematical Concepts requirement until after Spring. This is more of an issue of time than of ability, because I have been doing quite well through these remedial courses, it just means I can only take one math class per semester. Basically my question is this; can I take still be accepted for transfer at either of these schools and will they allow me to take the mathematical concepts course on their campus given that I fulfill all other IGETC requirements?</p>
