DonnaL, I so hope you had a safe journey back to NYC and are resting as comfortably as possible! I also hope the docs are being as generous as possible with the pain meds!

Donna,

I am so relieved to know you have made it safely back. Thanks so much for posting. Will continue to keep you in my thoughts.

Donna,
Glad that you’re back safely and that everyone is now speaking English around you! Most importantly, glad you got to see your son before he left. Now rest and heal!

So glad I checked this thread once more before turning in for the night. Donna, thanks so much for posting to provide a status update … I’ve been thinking about you/praying for you all day, and I’m so glad to know that you arrived safely in NYC and more importantly, that you got to see JAMES tonight (and even better, he got to see YOU - - I’ll bet that put him a little more at ease) … I hope things only continue to get better from here.

Now, I have to ask: are you posting from your PDA/Blackberry or do you actually have a laptop with you?

Either way, you are amazingly resilient. Please know there is a lot of love and support for you here …

Dear Donna,

I’m so glad you are back. I, too, am glad I checked your thread one last time tonight. I’ve been watching and waiting like so many. Thank you for taking the time to give us an update.

So sorry about the IV trouble. That really hurts, I know. I’m very relieved surgery is not immediately necessary, and you got to see James briefly before he heads back to school. I’m sure that meant so much to you both.

As BrownEyes said, there is a lot of love and support here for you. Take care. Try to rest easy. It must be a huge relief to be back in a more familiar place. Sending happy, gentle hugs.

Love,
jnsq

I’m so relieved to hear that you are at Mt. Sinai, Donna.
You are still in my thoughts and prayers. Please continue to keep us updated.

HUGS HUGS HUGS. So glad you’re back… Hope things improve quickly… Get some rest! Safe travels to James for his trip back to school.

Well, it is good to know that you are back. Glad that you were able to see James before he went back to school. Get well soon!

Add me to the list of the relieved…I had to check before heading out to choir practice this morning. We all devoutly hope that things are now on the upswing.

Yeah- Back in NYC! Sending you happy faces- and hoping that recovery is swift.

So glad you’re back in NY! Lots of healing thoughts and prayers…and ice chips. :)

Sending you lots of good wishes and healing energy from here!

Big Hugs!

So glad you’re back in NYC. Wishing you healing, and much more than Jello. And I’m very glad you got to see James before he left.

I can come visit you Monday AM or PM if you would like that. Please let me know.

Keep on healing! So glad that you are back safely in the USA. :)

Yay! Another step in the right direction! Please continue to keep us posted, as you are able. And I hope they give you a big, aromatic, succulently scrumptious jello casserole for dinner this evening. Your favorite flavor, of course.
Mmmmm! FYI–I plan to make a big bowl of cherry jello today in your honor, and I’ll be eating every bit of it. In the process, I’ll raise a glass filled to the brim with ice chips, perhaps with a twist of lemon–also in your honor. ;)
