Illinois 8th grader gets 36 on ACT

According to FOX News, an Illinois 8th grader managed to get a 36 on the ACT on the April 2007 test. He hopes to go to Stanford when he grows up. He did not take the writing option, so he will have to take the test again since Stanford requires it.

Of the 1.2 mil who take the ACT each year, only about 200 get a 36. This apprently was the first time in 9 years that an 8th grader managed to get a 36.
