ILR-->Corporate Law

I know ILR is a feeder school into law school, or at least that what it seems to be. But, is it a good track for corporate law?

If anyone answers this question here they don’t know what they are talking about. Its too open, you’re basically asking if its possible to get a good gpa after 4 years, good lsat scores, get into a great law school, attain a high gpa in said law school, and do well on you’re interviews and land a good corporate law job (which is boring as hell so def do some research and try out other options). If you can do the aforementioned things successively then: Yes. If you can’t, then No.

lol ya the only person I know who wants to go into that just wants it for the money even though he says its gonna be boring as hell. (although very lucrative!)

i think a track for corporate law has more to do with the law school than the undergrad school.

You can’t specialize so early in corporate law. First work at getting into a good GPA. If you get great grades at ILR and high LSAT scores, then you’ll have a great chance.

Worry about this when you’re in law school or even afterwards, some of the time a “BIGLAW” firm dictates what you’re going to practice irrespective of the courses you took in law school or undergrad (unless you major in the sciences or engineering–in which case you may be assigned to patent law or intellectual property law practices)
