I'm a mathematics major and I don't know what the best career is for me... Help

Ok so I’m a math major and I love the subject. I like the fact that in math your right or wrong. There is no in-between which is great. The skills you hone in math can be applied to everyday life situations too. However, I like working with kids in the medical field. I’m thinking about getting my bachelors of science in math and then apply to a physicians assistant program. But I don’t know if thats the right career path or if majoring in math would be the right path to take as well. I really like it even though its challenging. I find that in math you develop excellent analytical skills and the ability to work in a problem solving environments… which basically can be applied to the medical field… But then I want to teach elementary school… I’m just split help… [-O< :((

If you’re going to be a math major, you are probably going to be required to do a minor of some sort. A lot of people use this opportunity to do a premed track.

You could probably even pick your electives based on the teaching path as well for the math major portion.

Investigate this path and see if your school allows for such an option, which they probably do.
