I'm a sophmore and i made a 24 on the ACt at the end of Freshman year NEED HELP!!!

OKAy so i made a 24 FEbruary of my Freshman year. What should i do to help boost it up. I’m about to take Mid-terms at my school now and I just wanna ask anyone what i should do to help boost my score. ( I plan to take it again in February.

P.S. I Got a 1670 on my PSat this October. Opinon on how I’m doing so far.

You got an above average score on your PSAT and ACT; keep up the work. You should be fine at your local state university, but Top schools/Ivy League might be out of reach without major improvements.

as you go through your sophomore year and into your junior/senior years, your test score will raise due to maturity (usually this happens…). don’t worry too much about testing right now…

but as a sophomore, you are on the right track.

Study, study, study! And by “study” I mean take practice tests. Also, read a lot of graphs. If you did this well at the end of freshman year, I would mark you as someone who will probably be getting around a 32-35 by the time you’re a senior. But hey, who knows!

Just pay attention in math, and study grammar, and learn to read fast. That is all you can do to study for the ACT

I got deferred by Yale EA with a 24 act. stillgot hope.
will look pretty good if I can boost my score up so 30something till april

youre a sophomore. worry about studying junior year, and when you do, study and practice A LOT. but just hold onto your childhood while you still have time to enjoy your life.

Unfortunately, trying to get accepted into a top school is a full time job. If I were you, I would pay sharp attention in math class, never finishing the homework until the concepts are understood; study grammar; read tons of graphs; and most important of all, take as many TIMED practice test as you can. Doing all of this will eventually give you a good shot at a 36.
