I am currently in the middle of my second semester and my grades are the worst they have ever been. I currently have a 2.8 GPA(i am aware of how terrible that is). This year has been the roughest year of my life personally and school just didn’t seem important to me for a while. I have one AP class as I transferred to my school from another state. I want to go to Howard University and I’m worried that my terrible sophomore grades are going to hinder my dream. Do I have any chance of getting into this school?

I am not apart of any sports teams or clubs
I am also planning on doing my classes dual credit program next year
I go to the top school in my state
