I'm basically an idiot...

When I applied to Chicago, I put my major as biochem.

Then I changed my mind a month later, and wanted to major in biomed engineering. (And as everyone knows, UChi doesn’t have that major.) Anyway, on my resume, I changed that little fact about me on the “personal information” side of things, AND TOTALLY FORGOT TO CHANGE IT BACK WHEN I GAVE IT TO MY ALUMNI INTERVIEWER!!!

The thing is, she even asked me about it, and it didn’t seem like SHE knew that UChi didn’t have an engineering school…

Anyway. I applied EA. How much does this hurt my chances?

A bit late to worry about it, don’t you think? I really don’t think it will hurt you that much. Colleges aren’t naive enough to think that an applicant is only applying to their school.

It hurts your chances approximately 13.84%. :(

gosh, 13.84%? really?

poor guy… well, there’s always the state university.

kidding, i’ll see you at U of Chicago next fall. ;)

Thanks guys.

Chicago rounds up. It’s 14%. Sorry dude.
